About Misty (She/Her)

Hello! I am an LA based illustrator and visual development artist and for the past few years I have worked as the Head Archivist at Clampett Studio Collections, handling vintage animation art from major studios like Warner Bros. and Disney. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me :)

I have felt a connection to art and the process of creation ever since I could make scribbles on paper. Since I was young it has been my voice and my escape, and so it is as necessary and automatic as breathing to me; I feel that a lot of creatives probably feel the same way.

Art is a powerful form of communication and it is a catalyst for societal change. It can stir our emotions and provoke thought. It is that ability that attracts me to this career path; I like to create images that bring happiness and spark the imagination of the viewers, specifically I enjoy creating works that resonate with kids or the young at heart. With that, I hope you enjoy the weird and whimsical worlds my mind creates as much as I do.
